BlackRock CEO Larry Fink angrily told media: 'The constant claim that this election is the most crucial in our lives: I can't hear that anymore.' Because: 'It doesn't matter who wins the election.' The markets are not dependent on election results, said Fink. No wonder: the financial markets are more likely to control politicians than the other way around.
Global presence: Blackrock benefits from crises
For Larry Fink, the crisis is purely a matter of profit. The asset management company he founded, 'Blackrock', achieved record results in the last quarter . This does not even take into account the large profits from the Ukraine business. But Larry Fink is already expecting more top results in the future: "We are effectively leveraging our technology, scale and global presence to deliver profitable growth," he explained. Large parts of Ukraine were bought by Blackrock in the shadow of the war. After the war, a reconstruction bank led by Blackrock and JP Morgan will benefit. It was said at the beginning of the year that it would be ready for use at any time .
Republicans and Democrats: All on Team 'Blackrock'
No wonder someone like the President of the United States doesn't intimidate Larry Fink. He explained: "We see every year, every four years, when we have an election, everyone says there will be a dramatic change in the market, and over time there won't be." It doesn't matter who wins the election. Fink made it clear to Bloomberg News that BlackRock has close ties to both Republicans and Democrats.
So it doesn't matter who Americans vote for. When it comes to the most important questions, they always choose Team Blackrock. This is not new, but the fact that it comes from the BlackRock boss and founder himself is refreshingly direct.
